Question: Is The Cosmic
Gym a Christian website? Do they believe in Jesus as God's
Son?
Mr.
Universe Sez: A website has no beliefs...only
a collection of information and opinons. I believe that
humans conceive of themselves as limited, within the confines
of a small arena...not understanding their co-creative powers
with God. This is why they feel the need for a saviour.
It is the same reason we exhault athletes and rock stars.
Jesus said, it is done unto you as you believe. I don't
believe that Jesus came to suffer for our sins, but he came
to show us a different way, and he used his
suffering as a lesson because that is what came to him.
He came to show us that despite our pain and our suffering,
that we could heal, and we could forgive.
He also came to show us that we are eternal beings, having
a human experience, and when that experience is over, we
go on. He was the great example, not the
great exception.
I believe that we are all the sons of god, waking up one
by one in the flesh, preparing ourselves to take stewardship
of this planet. I believe that abundance and health, harmony,
and balance are our birthright. We are in our adolescence,
but we don't have to run ourselves into the ground until
the laws of cause and effect stop us with natural conequences...we
can choose to do
things differently.
We don't have to do things the same way as our parents,
or our parents parents...We can choose differently. Will
we? We are evolving, and we can choose to see the bad, celebrate
it with TV News exposes and Jerry Springer,
or we can choose to see the good and support the good with
our attention, time, talent, and money. It only takes a
relatively small group of people holding a consciousness
to make a shift.
There is a collective available to us...the power of holding
an intention, and aligning with the power of nature. I believe
that hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, and earthquakes are
disturbances arising out of a disturbed consciousness. We
have the power to create, and the
power to destroy, we have the power to unite, or to isolate...to
choose or loose.
The earth itself will go on without us, and we will go
on without the earth...you can't have free will without
natural consequence...and whether you personally are holding
the consciousness that allows all of the horrible things
to happen, or someone else, it really does not matter, because
there is one mind, and that mind holds
all the thoughts ever thought, and when the balance tips
from negative to positive, then the shift happens. I'd like
to see it in my lifetime, but it doesn't really matter.
I believe that we, the sons of God, made in God's likeness,
will align our hearts with the heart of the Christ. We will
come to understand our place and our purpose. We don't need
to be saved...we are one with the spirit that created us
and we will shake the illusion of matter and the temples
we have built from those illusions and fully manifest heaven
on earth as the creator intended.
Question: Am I on the
right track in life?
Mr.
Universe Sez: Good question. Paths are as unique
as the individual expressions who walk them. the collection
of experiences that make up your path have led you here...to
this present moment. In this present moment you are perfect,
whole, and complete. If you cast your glance behind you
and feel regret, then it is very possible that when you
turn your attention to the future you will feel longing.
resist the temptation to indulge in a guilty past or an
uncertain future. Use your imagination to place yourself
into your ideal situation...visualize this often, and always
in the present tense. Affirm that you are always in the
right place, doing the right thing, at the right time. Be
what and who you want to be in this present moment, and
you are always on the right track.
Question: created by
fire we encompass the earth and together we form form one
seamless body always in motion yet going nowhere. how many
of us are there? answer required urgently
Mr.
Universe Sez: OK. Science proved that matter
could not be created or destroyed, only changed. We are
created out of matter, so work backwards. Look at all of
the manifest universe...all of creation is made up of matter.
There can only be one single source for matter since matter
is finite and complete. Many people call this source God.
If the stuff that makes up the universe is the same stuff
that makes up our world and all the people in it, then there
is only one single source. God is all there is, which means
there is nothing outside of god. Since nothing new can be
created, God had to make everything in the manifest universe
out of him/herself, including us. God only had him/herself
to work with. We are then, one with God, made from God,
and infused with the consciousness of God. There is only
one mind and that is the mind of God, springing forth from
the consciousness of God. We are then like drops of water
that make up the ocean. We are not the ocean, but for one
breif moment we crest as a wave, expressing our individuality
amidst the whole, and then melting quietly back into the
sea of one. In our moment of individuality, we have access
to all of the creative powers of God, and that is how we
create our own individual mind. In a sense, we reenact creation
by creating ourselves through the creative power of our
creator. Since our mind springs from the mind of God, it
is completely networked to the one, and we are completely
networked to the whole.
God is Triune in nature, which means basically there are
three parts to God. There is the Objective Mind, or Idea,
the Subjective Mind, or matter, and The Manifestaion which
is a union of Idea and matter or otherwise called Creation.
Some religions call this The Father, The Son, And the Holy
Spirit. There is the illusion of three distinct parts, but
it is still a complete whole just as the human body is a
whole and not a collection of cooperative organ systems.
The mind is a unifying factor. The One Mind creates the
One Life.
There is a process called Spiritual Mind Treatment
that you can use to prove to yourself that what I say is
true. This process is a tried and true method for creating
a mental equivalent for a desired physical manifestation,
and demonstrates your co-creative powers with God. Think
of it this way: For every physical object in the universe,
there is a mental equivalent, or idea. A chair was just
an idea about sitting prior to becoming a real place to
sit. A chair is not a random creation, but rather a design
that first had to exist in a mental state before it could
exist in a physical one. A Spiritual Mind Treatment is a
process which moves us mentally from idea to action, and
knowing that once the idea has been initiated, the creative
stuff of the universe works in a focused and consistent
manner to make the invisible (idea) real. Matter, or the
subjective part of creation, the part that always says yes,
has no choice but to respond. It is the nature of the subjective
mind to create whatever thoughts are impressed upon it.
In the soil of your mind there exists a garden, and in
your life you bring forth the harvest each and every day.
The thoughts and ideas you think are the seeds, which create
your reality, and your experiences are the fruit of your
own imagination. The soil is impersonal, and impartial.
It always says yes. If you plant a tomato seed, the soil
does not judge it unworthy and grow a cantaloupe instead.
The soil responds yes, just as matter responds to the mind
of God to change and form into whatever is desired.
The thoughts you think and the beliefs you hold are the
conscious and unconscious seeds you plant in your own life.
Once you understand this, you can consciously direct the
flow of good into your life by choosing the thoughts you
think. This idea may seem strange at first, and your thoughts
may seem to be beyond your control, but truly, your life
is a product of the thoughts you choose to think. If you
change your thinking, you can change your life.
The soil contains the thoughts and ideas of generations
since the beginning of time. Jung called this the collective
unconscious. Metaphysicians call this Race Mind or Race
Consciousness. Reflect for a moment on what the soil of
your own mind might then contain. Television and the media
have also contributed a great deal to this Race consciousness.
The seeds of love have been sown alongside generations of
misery and pain. The soil always says yes, even to the unconscious
and misguided use of the law. The sun shines on the roses
and the weeds equally.
Preparation for manifesting what you want involves clearing
the ground of these weed thoughts, and clearing your mind
of the old ideas that planted them. If you chose to believe
something is true then it will be true for you and those
around you. People who support your beliefs will surround
you like planets revolving around the sun. This is how tribes,
cultures, and races, and religons evolve.
Question: How do I
atone for the wrongs i have caused my love so that he may
know that i want to connect my soul to his for all eternity?
Mr.
Universe Sez: Most girls don't want the kind
of guy they need. They tend to desire the "bad boy." They
are looking for romance, stability, and structure but crave
adventure, excitement, and danger. I am guesing that this
is what your "attonement" is about.
Oftentimes people put themselves in situations where they
are "bad" because that is what they believe about
themselves. I imagine that you are "being bad"
because you are acting out against your true heart's desires.
The best advice I can give you is to focus fully on yourself.
What do you enjoy doing? What truly makes you happy? If
you spend your time doing what you love, then it will be
natural for you to meet someone with the same passion for
life that you have. Someone who enjoys the same things.
Someone who understands you and accepts you the way you
are.
Ali McGraw said it best in Love Story "Being
in love means you never have to say you are sorry."
or something to that effect.
Spend some time alone...without boyfriends, lovers, or
anyone but your own self. If you find this difficult, you
might need some counseling to get to the root of what is
really going on with you.
Question: Do I have
Parkinson? Do I have the exact symptoms?
Mr.
Universe Sez: From one hypochondriac to another:
probably not! A doctor can tell you for sure, but I recommend
seeing an Acupuncturist. Find a reputable wholistic doctor
in your area and make an appointment. Your medical insurance
will probably not cover it, but it will be well worth the
investment. Ask plenty of questions, particularly if you
are prescribed herbs. Make sure the herbs you are taking
are time-tested through thousands of years of Chinese medicine
and not a new age fad. Peace of mind is crucial to good
health so don't put it off!

Question: Was Julius
Caeser's assassination just or unjust?
Mr.
Universe Sez: I cannot fathom the justness of
any assassination. In fact, I have a problem with the idea
of justice in general. Justice requires Judgement...the
ability to decide what is good and what is bad.
There was once a farmer who had a son. One day the son
captured beautiful, wild horse. He brought the horse home
to his father. All of the villagers said how lucky the farmer
was to have captured the horse, for surely it was good.
"Good or bad, I do not know. It is not for me to say,"
said the farmer.
The son was taming the wild horse when it threw him, breaking
the son's leg in the process. The villagers all said how
unlucky it was that the son had captured the horse and broken
his leg, for surely that must be bad.
"Good or bad, I do not know. It is not for me to say,"
said the farmer.
Soon there was a great uprising in the country, and the
army came to the village. All of the young men were taken
away to fight...all except the farmers son who was unfit
to fight with a broken leg. All of the villagers said how
lucky it was that the son had a broken leg...that he was
not taken away by the army and would not die, as surely
as the other young men of the village would. Surely, this
was a good thing.
"Good or bad, I do not know. It is not for me to say,"
said the farmer.
The farmer knew that good and bad were just two sides of
the same coin...a toss up really that could go either way.
Was Ceaser's assassination just? He probably didn't think
so, but obviously the men who killed him did.
Et tu?
Question: How do i
know if the abenergizers or the other products shown on
tv really work?
Mr.
Universe Sez: This is a question I have recently
pondered myself. I grew up during the seventies. It was
an age of ideas and promise, but in reality, nothing really
worked the way it was supposed to. The things that were
shown on TV NEVER worked the way they were supposed to.
I became more disillusioned with each disappointment...the
doll that didn't really cry, or that shorted out when she
wet herself. Those early experiences locked me into a pattern
of skepticism, and still to this day I harbor the belief
that "those things don't really work."
Fast forward twenty-five years.
Now I have a computer, VCR, microwave, palm pilot, DVD
player, cell phone...all electronic marvels. I watched video
games go from simple Pong and Space Invaders to complex
three-D animations. Science has unlocked the
mysteries of the universe and the male erection. Heart transplants
and a myriad of drugs and surgeries save countless lives
every year.
Still, I remain skeptical. Perhaps this skepticism is rooted
in the fact that despite all of our scientific advances,
we still have disease, death, and despair. Perhaps my skepticism
stems from my upbringing...my hippie
parents raised me in Utopia which has now become Suburbia
where I watch strip malls populate like Tribbles on the
starship enterprise. Maybe it was Star Trek that set my
expectations too high...shouldn't I be able to
teleport across the country instead of cramming into a too-small
seat on an over-full airplane and spend my entire day traveling
to visit people I barely know that I met on the Internet?
In a way, science is like that weird morph thing that William
Hurt becomes in Altered States. We have advanced so much
and yet evolved so little, and
hence the primal forces in our brain rear themselves at
the oddest moments to do battle with our modern lifestyle.
We want tight abs, thin thighs, and
yet we don't live the hunter-gatherer lifestyle or we don't
possess the genes that bestows them upon us naturally. On
some level, we ask ourselves, "Are hundreds and thousands
of years of evolution wrong?"
So, we can put a man on the moon and clone your pet kitten,
why can't the Abenergizer work too? The real question, I
believe, is will the Abenergizer be the answer to your prayers.
Will it perform the miracle of a flat
stomach? Will it give you beauty and strength and discipline,
which is what you really want anyway? The flat stomach is
a result, but the real reward comes with the process.
I think the real reason these things "don't work"
is as human beings, we still have the belief that some things
are supposed to be worked for, otherwise, there would be
no reason to believe that it wouldn't work. At the
very least, you can wear it while you do your sit-ups to
remind you of the value of things money can't buy.
Question: How do I
know the difference between the voice of spirit and the
voice of my own desires?
Mr.
Universe Sez: Human desire is like a toilet tank
without a floater arm. The water runs and runs, but it never
fills the tank because there is no shut off valve to say
when "enough" has been reached. Spirit is a never-ending
supply of good. Spirit is always for your highest good and
greatest joy. Spirit will always speak to you in the present
moment, and you will always be perfect, whole, and complete
in the present moment. Spirit speaks about what is possible,
and human desire speaks about what is missing. If you are
longing, regretting, or waiting for something to happen
to you that is better than what you are experiencing right
now, then you are listening to the voice of your desires.
If you are envisioning a world where you are happy and
successful, or if you are imagining yourself fulfilling
your dreams, then you are listening to the voice of spirit.
Spirit is inviting you to co-create that vision...to build
a mold that will give form to the never-ending supply of
good flowing through you in each moment. You are the artist,
brush in hand before a blank canvas. What do you
chose to paint?
Question: How do you
know what is true and what is not?
Mr.
Universe Sez: The same way that you do. Truth
resonates with the soul, and each of us must look within
to validate what is true.
Question: Why are there
so many UFO reports, Ghost Sightings, and is Harry Potter
Evil? Forgive me if these are too many questions.
Mr.
Universe Sez: Don't worry, everyone has too many
questions...you are not alone!
Let's start with the first two questions. From the dawn
of time, man has looked outside himself for answers. Ghosts
& UFO's are manifestations of our own fear and doubt. Do
they really exist? If you take a metaphysical approach that
God is all there is, and that man is the creation of God,
empowered with the power to co-create with God, then the
answer is simple. Yes, they really exist because we have
created them.
Why do people need ghosts and goblins and little men with
big eyes who travel in light ships and snatch up hapless
victims to prod and probe and implant with devices? Because
it is easier to live with problems if they are outside of
yourself and beyond your control. When fear and doubt are
expelled from our consciousness, we will no longer need
the boogey man, and ghosts and aliens and UFO's will either
disappear forever, or be integrated into our existence to
such a degree that there will be no more "sightings" as
ghosts and UFO's will just be an accepted part of our lives,
such as fairies, gnomes, and elves were integrated into
ancient Celtic cultures and spirits coexisted in native
american and mayan-incan-indian cultures.
The Harry Potter question is a no brainer. Harry Potter
is not evil. Harry Potter has sparked the creativity and
imagination of a generation of children who might not have
picked up a book in favor of a Game Boy to save their lives.
Harry Potter is this generation's Lord of the Rings or Chronicles
of Narnia...the only difference is that we live in the information
age. Instant gratification, Instant communication, Marketing
and Publishing on Demand...all magic. We live in an age
where miracles are so commonplace that we don't even notice
them. Harry Potter is a pause in the collective fast forward,
an opportunity for a little reflection on our way to the
future.
I hope I have shared something of significance with you
today. As always, take what you need and leave the rest.
God Bless, Mr. Universe
